Job Summary: As a SAP PP Consultant/Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP Production Planning (PP) modules to streamline manufacturing processes and optimize production efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP PP solutions. Additionally, you will provide support, training, and guidance to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of SAP PP functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementation and Configuration:

   • Configure SAP PP modules based on business requirements, including master data setup, production orders, work centers, routings, and capacity planning.
   • Customize SAP PP functionalities to align with specific business processes and industry standards.
   • Integrate SAP PP with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and external systems for seamless data flow and process integration.

2. Business Process Analysis:

   • Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions.
   • Design and implement efficient production planning strategies to enhance productivity and resource utilization.

3. Support and Maintenance:

   • Provide ongoing support for SAP PP modules, including troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, and implementing enhancements.
   • Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to ensure SAP PP functionality meets business needs.
   • Collaborate with technical teams for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

4. Training and Documentation:

   • Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions on SAP PP functionalities, best practices, and usage guidelines.
   • Create and maintain documentation, including user manuals, process flows, and configuration guides, to support SAP PP implementation and usage.

5. Continuous Improvement:

   • Stay updated with the latest SAP PP trends, technologies, and best practices.
   • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in SAP PP processes and functionalities.
   • Proactively propose and implement enhancements to optimize production planning and scheduling activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience (X years) in SAP PP implementation, configuration, and support.
• Proficiency in SAP PP modules, including Production Planning (PP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including make-to-order, make-to-stock, and engineer-to-order.
• Hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., IDoc, RFC, BAPI) and data migration tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP PP certification(s) preferred.
