JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities
:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Develop and oversee the implementation of financial strategies, plans, and budgets to support the organization's growth objectives.
    • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements, including tax filings, audit procedures, and statutory reporting.
  3. Cash Flow Management:

    • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial performance and support operational needs.
    • Develop and implement cash management strategies to maximize returns on cash investments while minimizing risks.
  4. Financial Risk Management:

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk, to safeguard the organization's financial assets and resources.
    • Develop and maintain effective risk management policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization from financial losses.
  5. Strategic Financial Planning:

    • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management and key stakeholders, including financial analysis, investment evaluations, and business case development.
    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance performance and promote career growth.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a track record of success in financial management, analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, spreadsheet analysis, and financial management software.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on driving results, fostering innovation, and building high-performance teams.
