Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand project management requirements and objectives.
Analyze business processes related to project management and recommend SAP PS solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Configure SAP PS modules to support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, and cost accounting processes.
Customize SAP PS functionality using user exits, BAdIs, and enhancements as needed to meet specific business requirements.
Define project structures, including work breakdown structures (WBS), networks, and milestones, in SAP PS.
Configure integration between SAP PS and other SAP modules such as SAP FI (Finance), SAP CO (Controlling), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution).
Develop and execute test scripts to validate SAP PS configurations and customizations.
Provide end-user training and support during SAP PS implementation and post-implementation phases.
Collaborate with technical teams for system enhancements, upgrades, and patches related to SAP PS.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP PS functionality, data integrity, and system performance.
Stay current with SAP PS best practices, new features, and updates released by SAP.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SAP PS Consultant or similar role, with at least X years of experience.
In-depth knowledge of SAP PS functionality, including project structures, project planning, budgeting, resource management, and cost accounting.
Strong understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with SAP PS configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming language is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant SAP certifications in SAP PS or related modules are preferred.
