JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Implementation and Configuration:

   • Configure SAP MM module according to business requirements, including master data setup, organizational structure definition, and system customization.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Finance (FI).

2. Procurement Process Optimization:

   • Design and implement procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, request for quotations (RFQs), and vendor evaluation.
   • Optimize procurement workflows to streamline sourcing, supplier selection, and contract management activities.

3. Inventory Management:

   • Develop inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stockouts.
   • Configure inventory valuation methods, storage locations, and stock movement procedures in SAP MM.

4. Master Data Management:

   • Create and maintain master data records such as material master, vendor master, and purchasing info records in SAP MM.
   • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through regular maintenance and validation processes.

5. Logistics Execution:

   • Coordinate logistics execution activities, including goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer, and warehouse management.
   • Monitor and track material movements across the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and efficient order fulfillment.

6. Reporting and Analytics:

   • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions to provide insights into procurement performance, inventory trends, and supplier relationships.
   • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization initiatives.

7. User Training and Support:

   • Provide training and support to end-users on SAP MM functionalities, processes, and best practices.
   • Address user queries, issues, and enhancement requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• SAP certification in Materials Management (MM) preferred.
• X years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant or similar role, with hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Project management skills and experience managing end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
