Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Implementation and Configuration: Lead or participate in the implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules to meet business requirements, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), and Profitability Analysis (PA).
Business Process Analysis: Analyze client's business processes, identify gaps, and propose SAP solutions to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Customization and Development: Customize SAP FICO modules as needed, including defining chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and other financial structures. Develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements to support business needs.
Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO modules with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and third-party systems to enable end-to-end business processes.
User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on SAP FICO functionality, processes, and best practices. Resolve user issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
Testing: Develop and execute test plans/scripts for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure successful testing and validation of SAP FICO configurations and developments.
Documentation: Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and training materials. Maintain accurate documentation of SAP FICO solutions, configurations, and changes.
Change Management: Manage change requests and conduct impact analysis to assess the implications of proposed changes on SAP FICO configurations, processes, and systems.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with SAP FICO updates, new features, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization to drive business value.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum X years of experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration, and support. Experience with at least X full lifecycle SAP FICO projects is preferred.
SAP Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, and PA. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
Configuration Expertise: Proficient in SAP FICO configuration, including setting up company codes, posting periods, fiscal year variants, document types, and other master data elements.
Integration Knowledge: Understanding of SAP integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) as well as external systems. Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., IDoc, RFC, BAPI) is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
