Job Description: As an SAP ABAP S/4 Conversion Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and executing the technical aspects of our transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. You will collaborate closely with our functional and technical teams to analyze, design, develop, and implement solutions that ensure a smooth and successful conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing ABAP codebase and identify areas requiring conversion or optimization for S/4HANA compatibility.
• Design and develop custom ABAP programs, enhancements, and interfaces to meet business requirements in the S/4HANA environment.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand conversion requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform system configuration and customization as needed to support the S/4HANA conversion.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for developed solutions.
• Provide expertise and guidance to project teams on best practices for ABAP development in the S/4HANA landscape.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP development during the conversion process.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities according to company standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA conversion projects, including system preparation, data migration, and custom code adaptation.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming including ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPIs, RFCs, BAdIs, and User Exits.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex business processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
• SAP certification in ABAP development is preferred.
